Update your personal details

We would like to remind our customers that it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your personal details. At Santander Consumer Finance we take great care to ensure your personal details remain safe and adhere to the Data Protection Act at all times. As such, whilst we are able to action changes to your address and contact details online, other changes require written confirmation.

Change of name

If you’ve changed your name, you can email the below details to [email protected]

  • a photo or scan of the supporting documentation such as marriage certificate, decree nisi/absolute, or deed poll notice
  • copies of your new and old signature
  • agreement number (this is a 14 digit number starting with “100” which can be found on your agreement documentation or your Direct Debit payment reference).

If you don’t have your agreement number to hand, you can supply the registration number of the vehicle.
