On 22 March 2023, Santander Consumer Finance attended the British Diversity Awards. We are proud to announce that our Diversity and Inclusion network, Collabor8, won ‘Outstanding Employee Network of the Year’. The awards celebrate dedicated constituents and their achievements.
Collabor8, brings together the eight Diversity and Inclusion networks of Santander UK. Working to initiate change across all areas. This includes ethnicity, disability, carers, women in business, social mobility, military veterans, LGTBQ+ and mental wellbeing. From sponsoring Crawley Pride 2022 and featuring on BBC news. To hosting educational sessions and updating internal policies. The team have worked to advocate for a better, diverse and inclusive workplace. With a great focus on socially responsible business practice. Enabling all employees to feel a sense of equality and belonging at work. Each network aims to educate, support and drive change. In addition, they aim to provide a safe space for everyone.
